Custom Webcam PCB

Description

In Northwestern University’s Electronic System Design Course I, my partner and I developed a fully functional webcam, involving the design of a compact 50 x 50 mm PCB using EAGLE software. Our design featured the SAM4S8B MCU, ESP32 WiFi Module, and OV2640 Camera. The firmware, programmed for interrupt-driven operation, enabled live streaming of the camera feed through Web-Sockets.

This project entailed detailed PCB assembly and debugging, using electrical lab equipment and logic analyzers, offering a comprehensive hands-on experience in electronic system design and emphasizing the importance of meticulous planning and testing in complex projects.
